About the Role
We’re hiring Service Advisors with a minimum of 2–3+ years of service advisor experience in small, independent automotive repair shops. In this role, you’ll manage the front of house, oversee shop flow, lead a team of technicians, and build accurate estimates that help customers understand and approve the work their vehicle needs.
Dealership experience does not translate well here .The workflow, pace, and customer relationships are very different. This is not an entry-level position. While we do offer training and support, we are not looking to start from scratch at this time.
Position Type
Full-Time | In-Person | Six Days Per Week
You will work closely with another advisor to coordinate rotating days off for scheduling flexibility. Saturdays are required.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Greet customers and intake vehicle concerns
- Build and present repair estimates
- Communicate clearly with technicians and customers
- Maintain steady, efficient workflow in the shop
- Coordinate parts ordering and job approvals
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process
- Maintain a clean, professional front office environment
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2–3 years of service advisor experience in an independent auto repair shop
- Strong sales ability with confidence in quoting and closing jobs
- Understanding of general automotive repairs and accurate parts pricing
- Experience managing technician workflow and maintaining shop productivity
- Excellent communication with both customers and team members
- Ability to create clear, accurate estimates and maintain an organized front office
- Familiarity with modern shop management software
- Organized, dependable, and confident in a leadership role
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
