Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Detroit, MI

Rate: $192/hr (1099)

Practice Setting: Ambulatory Surgical Center

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable CRNA for locum coverage at two surgical centers in the Detroit metro area. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule within a collaborative, supervised anesthesia model.

Requirements

• Board Certified CRNA

• Active Michigan License

• ACLS and BLS (AHA)

• Clean professional background

• Willingness to manage pediatric cases

• Local and travel candidates considered

Position Overview

• Practice Type: Surgical center with multi-specialty caseload

• Supervision Model: CRNA working under the direction of a supervising MDA

• EMR System: Cerner

• Operating Rooms: 3 ORs at one site; 5 ORs at the second

• Daily Case Volume: 7–20 surgical cases; 0–10 pain management cases

• Patient Population: Pediatric to geriatric (neonates excluded)

Clinical Scope

CRNA must be proficient in general surgical anesthesia for both adult and pediatric patients. Experience is preferred. Additional procedures include:

• General and IV sedation for plastic surgery

• General surgery

• Robotic-assisted procedures

• ENT

• Orthopedic

• Podiatric surgery

Locations

• Primary Site: St. Clair Shores

• Secondary Site: Macomb

Providers will primarily be scheduled at St. Clair Shores, with occasional coverage at the Macomb location. Travel between sites will not be required on the same day.

Additional Details:

• Credentialing Timeline: Estimated 90–120 days

• Team Composition: Surgeon, CRNA, supervising MDA, RN, scrub tech, and occasionally a first assist or resident
