Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement materials management strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee inventory control, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet production needs while minimizing waste.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
• Coordinate demand forecasting and collaborate with production planning to align material availability.
• Direct inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing, and material handling operations.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for materials processes and systems.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management, supply chain, or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory control, planning, and scheduling.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, JIT, and inventory optimization strategies.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to manage and develop a team, coupled with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification
• Experience with advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Proven track record in successful ERP system implementation or optimization projects
