Air-Hydraulics, Inc. offers:

• $22.00 – $32.00 per hour commensurate with experience
• 1st shift; Monday – Friday; 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
• Time and a half pay for overtime works worked over 40 hours per week

Requirements:

CNC Machinists must meet the following:

• Minimum of (2) years of CNC Machinist experience.
• Ability to read part prints\drawings.
• Ability to set-up, program and operate Haas CNC machines, milling and turning, a PLUS.
• Must have your own hand tools to perform machine setups.
• Having a minimum of measurement gages; Micrometers up to 2”, Calipers up to 6 inches, a PLUS.
• Ability to work independent, with little direct supervision
• The ability to operate a fork lift truck is a PLUS.
• Must be willing to pass a pre-employment physical which includes drug screening and must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Valid driver license.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must be a United States Citizen or able to legally work in the USA.

Responsibilities:

CNC Machinists are responsible for the following:

• Read prints and inspect & measure part’s dimensions to them.
• Select and gather raw material, metal or castings and cut steel bars into blanks, if necessary.
• Record into mfg. system, material(s) used for the job.
• Be able to perform simple setup and operate CNC milling centers or turning center.
• Analyzing specifications and part prints to determine tooling
• Gather tooling, install cutting tools into holders\arbors and then into machine.
• Gather fixturing to hold blanks or casting on to machine.
• Perform tooling offsets and part offsets.
• Be responsible for proper and safe setup for parts to be machined.
• Perform dimensional layout on first machined part to confirm conformity to prints and other routing instructions.
• Run small volume\prototype production, measuring parts for conformity, sharpening tools or replacing inserts, making offset adjustments, etc.
• Record into mfg. system your set‐up and run time, scrap quantities and explanation of scrap or rework codes and conforming product produced during the shift.
• Perform various quality processes and records as it relates to production, under ISO 9001:2015 standards and company quality manual and procedures.
• Set‐up and operate variety of other manual\non‐CNC machine tools (Drill Press, Bridgeport Mill, etc.), to machine single item parts or to perform second operations to complete the part.
• Perform other miscellaneous or indirect task and jobs as directed by supervisor.
