Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide time limited individual and group counseling in shelter and community-based settings using trauma informed, motivational enhancement, and cognitive behavioral approaches
• Maintain an efficient referral and intake process, including outreach, scheduling, and timely follow up
• Attend monthly EVE staff meetings and provide updates and brief presentations on counseling and psychoeducation topics for staff
• Participate in tabling and other outreach activities at community events and provide community education with the EVE outreach team
• Deliver psychoeducation, case management, referrals, and service coordination to promote client safety, stability, and recovery
• Maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, referral sources, and community partners, collaborating to support the best possible outcomes
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in the Empower client database, ensuring privacy and confidentiality in accordance with all applicable regulations and ethical standards
• Participate in individual supervision, clinical case conferences, and agency wide meetings, contributing to a culture of learning and high-quality services
• Engage in ongoing professional development, with agency support for training and licensure
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in social work or counseling (required)
• Limited or full professional licensure; agency provides supervision toward licensure
• Minimum of one year of experience providing assessment and therapeutic interventions with adolescents and adults
• Experience with manualized treatment models, trauma-focused care, LGBTQIA2+ clients, and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault preferred
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
• Familiarity with client databases or willingness to learn
