Job Title: Automotive Technician / Mechanic
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Pay: $25 – $40 per hour (based on experience, ASE certifications, and Michigan mechanic certification)
Job Type: Full-time

About Us:
DriveTech Auto Care is a young and fast-growing automotive repair facility in Grand Rapids, MI. We’ve been in operation for about a year and are already expanding from 5 to 9 hoists due to high demand. Our current work focuses on servicing small dealership lot vehicles — no retail customers at this time — which allows for a steady, streamlined workflow.

Position Overview:
We’re looking for an Automotive Technician / Mechanic with solid diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. This is a great opportunity to join a growing shop and be part of a team that’s building something long-term.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday

• Saturdays as needed, based on demand

Pay Range:

• $25 – $40 per hour

• Based on experience, ASE certifications, and valid State of Michigan mechanic certification

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles efficiently and accurately

• Perform maintenance, safety inspections, and quality checks

• Document work performed clearly and completely

• Maintain a clean, organized work area

• Collaborate with team members and management

Requirements:

• Prior experience as an auto technician or mechanic

• Valid State of Michigan mechanic certification in applicable categories (preferred)

• ASE certifications (preferred but not required)

• Must have own tools

• Dependable and professional
