Maintenance Mechanic

**Industrial Maintenance Mechanic** **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive maintenance inspections and services on machines. + Thoroughly clean machines and machine parts, removing and reinstalling parts as necessary. + Troubleshoot and repair broken machines quickly and efficiently. + Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines. + Perform routine maintenance, make mechanical and hydraulic repairs, troubleshoot equipment issues, and replace or fabricate parts. + Assist with production equipment repairs as needed. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and air pressure systems. + Experience with mechanical maintenance and the ability to read blueprints. + Skill in using hand tools and performing PLC troubleshooting. + Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with heater bands and working in a plastics environment. + Background in carpentry, plumbing, or pneumatics is a plus. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Taylor, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
