Who we are looking for:

Slate is looking for a Mobile Software Development Engineer I to help make our software development in the electric vehicle space successful. You will focus on defining and building our digital customer experience. You must be able to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced startup environment where your contributions have a direct impact on the company's direction and success and should not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.

What you get to do:

• You contribute to the implementation and delivery of Slate software.
• You code and test system components.
• You contribute to system tests, functional tests, and integration.
• You collaborate with UX and product teams to build and invent new solutions and applications that put customers first.

What you bring to the team:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 1 to 3 years of professional experience in full-stack mobile software development – Android / iOS or modern web browsers and services, mainly in TypeScript and Java environments.
• 1 to 3 years of programming experience with at least one modern language, such as React and node.js or Java or C++.
• 1 year of professional experience developing a consumer-facing production mobile application.
