Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in East Lansing that are seeking skilled Recruiters. Key Responsibilities

• Source and attract qualified candidates for various manufacturing roles, including production operators, technicians, engineers, and quality control personnel.
• Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit within a manufacturing environment.
• Partner closely with manufacturing hiring managers to understand departmental needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial requisition to offer negotiation and pre-employment screening for plant-based positions.
• Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), job boards, and industry-specific networks to identify and engage top talent.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of skilled candidates for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing roles.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies throughout the hiring process.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience recruiting for manufacturing roles (e.g., production, engineering, skilled trades).
• Demonstrated ability to source and attract candidates for hard-to-fill technical and operational positions.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing environments, roles, and industry-specific hiring challenges.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging candidates and collaborating with hiring managers.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with common manufacturing processes, skilled trades, or engineering disciplines.
• Experience with HRIS/ATS platforms like SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or Oracle HR Cloud.
• Previous hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency in Spanish or other languages common in the local workforce.
