AUTOMOTIVE RENTAL PORTER

THE POSITION: The Rental Porter is responsible for cleaning, porting, checking in/out loaner vehicles, off-site transport, and customer support.

Skills & Qualifications:
- A valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) are required.
- Ability to complete tasks on your own as well as with a team.
- Attention to detail is imperative.
- Customer service and computer skills preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Cleaning loaner vehicles to company specifications.
- Porting, parking, plating/de-plating loaner vehicles per the ins/outs of the loaner fleet.
- Detailed walk arounds to survey for damage and follow proper procedures.
- Customer service skills that allow for the checking in/out of vehicles.
- Light computer and office work as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
- Frequently required to get in and out of vehicles.
- Requires the ability to lift 40 pounds of material.
- Works frequently outside in different weather conditions.
