Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Saute Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining and catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to menu planning. Your expertise in the kitchen will help create memorable dining experiences for our Members

Duties

· Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards

• Ensure all food is prepared promptly while maintaining quality and presentation
• Assist in menu planning and development, offering creative ideas for seasonal dishes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
• Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques are followed
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management
• Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests

Experience

· Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry

• Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
• Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
• Familiarity with fine dining standards and practices
• Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in meal preparation
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, with a focus on high-volume service
• Experience in catering is an advantage
