Responsibilities:

• Determine appropriate diagnostic tests and procedures for patients with gastrointestinal issues.
• Perform endoscopic examinations and interpret the results accurately.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various gastrointestinal conditions.
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and timely.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in gastroenterology.
• Provide education and counseling to patients regarding their gastrointestinal health.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Medical degree with specialization in Gastroenterology.
• Valid medical license to practice as a Gastroenterologist.
• Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in patient assessments and documentation.

Schedule: 7:30a-4p

Daily Volume: 10-12 scopes

Cases: Scope backlog and call coverage

3 endo suites

Support Staff: APPs, anesthesiologists, CRNAs

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified
