Salary Range: $114,000 - $163,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers.
• Oversee and manage engineering projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and product quality.
• Ensure the successful introduction of new products and technologies into production.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, best practices, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve complex production and technical challenges.
• Develop and manage the engineering department's operational budget and resource allocation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) with 7+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams, including performance management and professional development.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation technologies, with a focus on efficiency and reliability.
• Demonstrated ability in project management, including scope definition, resource allocation, budget control, and on-time delivery of engineering initiatives.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with advanced manufacturing execution systems (MES) or ERP integration projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and advanced automation technologies (e.g., robotics, AI/ML in manufacturing).
