What you'll be doing
We are seeking a professional Project Manager to complete pavement maintenance projects by developing and evaluating project plans and implementing them. This individual will handle high profile projects subcontracted to other organizations, while providing top level customer service as a liaison to the end user.
- Establishes project plan by determining time frame, funding, creating project schedule.
- Approves project specifications by analyzing project design, customer requirements and performance standards (traffic flow, staying on schedule, etc).
- Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends and reporting items to the team.
- Tracks client and subcontractor interactions with customized CRM program.
- Work hand in hand with customers to maintain partnership though scheduling and project completion.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
- Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations; coordinates with government regulatory agencies.
- Other duties may be assigned on an as-needed basis.
What you'll bring to us
- Strong understanding of math.
- Experience in construction trades is preferred, not necessary.
- Project Management experience preferred.
- degree preferred.
- Must have excellent leadership experience, sense of urgency and a natural ability to work in a fast paced and growing environment.
- Must have ability to interact effectively with clients.
- Must be comfortable with hands-on environment of high communication.
- Extensive travel required up to 80%. Mostly driving.
