We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Traveling Security Camera Installation Technician to join our team based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you’ll travel across the U.S. installing and configuring surveillance systems at our apartment communities that we own and manage. We Provide:

• $21.65 per hour + up to 40 hours of overtime per pay period!
• Daily per diem of $50/Day during qualified work travel and fully paid travel expenses (hotels, company vehicle and gas)

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, wire, and configure security camera systems
• Mount cameras, run cable (including low-voltage wiring)
• Test system functionality and ensure optimal camera placement and performance
• Work with project managers and local teams to complete installations on time and within scope
• Travel frequently – 2 weeks on and 1 week off

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience preferred in installing surveillance or low-voltage systems (we can train!)
• Strong understanding of IP networking, cabling, and system integration
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts
• Comfortable with hand tools, power tools, and technical troubleshooting
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must pass background check and drug screening
