AMC Tax Manager
Business Chief Financial Officer Reporting directly to the Robotics Global Head of Tax, you will take regional responsibility for managing direct and indirect tax matters in the Americas region. You will shape and lead the Robotics Tax function in the region, ensuring compliance, driving tax optimization, and supporting business growth through expert guidance and strong stakeholder engagement. You will collaborate closely with global tax leadership and other regional tax teams to harmonize practices, optimize resources, and enable effective decision making. Key Responsibilities
- Regional Tax Leadership: Build and lead the Robotics Tax function in Americas region and oversee the regional legal and tax structure.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure tax compliance across the region, implement global tax initiatives, and establish controls, processes, and risk frameworks.
- Tax Optimization: Drive effective tax rate (ETR) improvements, identify tax savings opportunities, and support simplification and efficiency initiatives.
- Country Tax Responsibility: Act as Country Tax Responsible for selected countries - overseeing filings, approvals, audits, disputes, managing outsourced providers, internal controls, and other Country tax matters.
- Business Advisory & Collaboration: Advise the business on tax implications of transactions, maintain strong relationships with external advisors and authorities, and collaborate with key stakeholders to support decision making and planning.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, tax, or law is required. Master's preferred.
- 10+ years minimum of proven experience in direct and/or indirect tax, ideally in multinational settings.
- Strong ability to guide teams and collaborate across functions.
- Excellent analytical capability and ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with proven stakeholder influence and engagement experience.
