Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is open for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a focus on serving a high school caseload. This role requires a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and eligibility for school-based practice.
Location:
- Ann Arbor, MI
Position Details:
- Part-time, 0.5 FTE (approximately 20 hours per week)
- Contract duration spans the full school year (NSY)
- High school caseload supporting students with speech and language needs
- Schedule details to be discussed during the hiring process to accommodate candidate availability and program requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid CCC-SLP credential is mandatory
- Previous experience working within a school setting preferred
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload of high school students with various communication disorders
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to address speech, language, and communication difficulties
- Document progress and maintain compliance with school policies
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to enhance student learning and communication skills
