About the Role
Elmet Technologies, a subsidiary of The Elmet Group, manufactures high-performance refractory metal products used in aerospace, defense, semiconductor, medical, and high-temperature applications. We are hiring a Process Engineer to develop, improve, and support manufacturing processes for our Spray Dry and Plasma Densification operations.
This is a hands-on engineering role working closely with production, quality, and customers to improve yields, resolve issues, and support new product development. What You’ll Do- Develop and document manufacturing processes for molybdenum and tungsten products
- Improve processes, methods, and equipment to increase capability and yield
- Troubleshoot production issues alongside shop floor employees
- Support new product introduction and technical customer requirements
- Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, and FMEA activities
- Partner with quality to resolve nonconforming material and complaints
- Provide technical guidance and training to production teams
- Support supply chain planning and production readiness
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering
- Project management and process planning experience
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
- Experience with SPC and Lean Manufacturing
- Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills
- Preferred: Thermal Spray Dry or Additive Manufacturing experience
- Work on advanced materials used in critical industries
- Hands-on role with visible impact on production performance
