Salary Range: $55,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily fabrication activities and team members.
• Plan, schedule, and prioritize fabrication projects to meet production deadlines.
• Ensure all fabricated components meet quality standards, specifications, and blueprints.
• Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of fabrication equipment.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of fabrication technicians.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor material inventory and coordinate with procurement for necessary supplies.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize fabrication processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in various fabrication techniques (welding, cutting, forming).
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding and application of quality control standards and safety protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team of skilled fabricators.

Bonus Qualifications

• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with CNC fabrication equipment programming and operation
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
