Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with day-to-day accounting functions, and supporting the finance team in preparing reports and reconciling accounts. This is an ideal role for someone who is analytical, organized, and eager to gain hands-on accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Support corporate accounting functions by maintaining the general ledger and ensuring all entries are accurate.
• Conduct financial auditing tasks to ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Collaborate with team members to forecast financial performance and assist in budgeting processes.
• Analyze financial concepts and provide insights to improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in special projects related to private equity and other financial initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles.
• Experience with bank reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with corporate accounting practices and general ledger reconciliation processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is an advantage.
