Position Title: Bridgeport Operator

Location: Auburn Hills

Shifts Needed: Days

Responsibilities

• Ability to execute build as represented in manufacturing plan and on prints for most medium and difficult complexity jobs with no supervision
• Operates most manual machines including lathes, presses, grinders, and Bridgeport's
• Works in an efficient manner
• Understand and work to all QMS procedures and work instructions
• Must be able to achieve quality and production goals
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Ability to read complex blueprints
• Ability to identify and find specifications
• Limited Knowledge in geometric tolerances (understand and recognize some symbols)
• Limited understanding of general tolerances
• Comprehend simple sections and views
• Understand reference system

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience

Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs.; heavier load sizes with assistance
• Have own standard tools
• On feet for extended periods of time

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
