Salary Range: $60,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of a manufacturing team to ensure production targets are met.
• Monitor and enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
• Train and mentor new and existing team members on production processes, quality standards, and equipment operation.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members, addressing any performance issues.
• Troubleshoot production problems and implement solutions to minimize downtime and ensure efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to quality control standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Manage work schedules and allocate resources effectively to optimize team productivity.
• Communicate production status, issues, and achievements to management and other departments.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• - Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).
• - Proficiency in a specific ERP or MES system relevant to the industry.
• - Bilingual in English and another language commonly spoken by the workforce.
• - Demonstrated ability to train and mentor new employees.
