Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Duties
- Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks, including carpentry, masonry, and plumbing.
- Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and transport them to designated areas on-site.
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, digging trenches, and mixing concrete as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- A willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced tradespeople.
