Finance/Office Assistant
Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (8-hour days) | Part-time in the winter
Position Overview: This role supports the Finance Director in the daily financial and administrative workflow of the office. The Financial/Office Assistant helps maintain accurate records, assists with collections and payment processing, and contributes to the overall organization and efficiency of office operations.

- Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)

Requirements:
- At least 1 year of accounting experience preferred
- Accounting or business-related degree preferred
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
- Basic knowledge of payroll, products, and services
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to emails regularly
- Enter payments into SingleOps
- Monitor and respond to emails regularly
- Data entry (entering receipts and invoices into QuickBooks)
- Create and manage deposits in QuickBooks
- Perform credit card and bank reconciliations
- Support collections efforts, including weekly follow-up on past due invoices and coordination with collections agencies
- Assist Finance Director with data entry, filing systems, and process improvements
- Help maintain overall office workflow and organization
- Assist with overflow phone calls (3rd in line)
- Support sales team with proposal follow-ups as needed
- Maintain shared office spaces (light cleaning, stocking coffee area, preparing coffee for next day)
