Salary Range: $76,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
• Perform internal and external quality audits of products, processes, and suppliers.
• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and material review board (MRB) dispositions.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) through APQP activities such as PPAP, FMEA, and control plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing quality problems and improve product reliability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in core quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys).
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications, with strong statistical analysis skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with statistical software packages (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience with specific industry quality management systems (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 13485, AS9100)
• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis
• Prior experience in supplier quality management and auditing
