About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Bay City, Michigan, 48706!

Start Date: June 15, 2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days – 12 hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week

ICU RN Responsibilities:

• Provide bedside critical care to ICU patients
• Monitor vitals, cardiac rhythms, ventilators, and patient status
• Administer medications and follow physician orders
• Respond to emergencies and rapid patient condition changes
• Float to Step Down and ED holding patients when needed
• Coordinate patient care with physicians and healthcare team
• Delegate tasks to support staff and supervise care activities
• Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge plans
• Maintain accurate charting in Cerner EMR
• Participate in patient care planning and handoff communication

• 2+ years ICU experience
• Comfortable floating to ED & Step Down
• Active Michigan RN license at submission
• Certifications:
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS

Preferred:

• Travel experience
• Neuro surgical experience
• Open heart experience
