Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and endpoints across manufacturing facilities.
• Oversee the support, integration, and optimization of manufacturing-specific systems (e.g., MES, SCADA, ERP).
• Ensure high availability and reliability of IT systems to minimize production downtime and ensure operational continuity.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity measures to protect operational technology (OT) and intellectual property.
• Lead IT strategic planning, budgeting, and project management aligned with manufacturing objectives.
• Manage IT vendor relationships, procurement, and service level agreements for manufacturing-critical systems.
• Implement and maintain IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans for production environments.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience managing IT infrastructure and operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with manufacturing-specific IT systems (e.g., ERP, MES, SCADA, PLM).
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles for both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
• Proven track record in IT project management, vendor management, and budget oversight.
• Ability to lead and develop an IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) environments, including SCADA, PLCs, and industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and common manufacturing ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Infor).
• Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity (ICS/OT security) best practices.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles and how IT can support continuous improvement initiatives.
