The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze production costs, variances, and COGS to identify cost drivers and areas for efficiency.
• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for manufacturing operations.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and performance dashboards for plant management and operational leadership.
• Conduct in-depth variance analysis between actual results, budget, and standard costs, providing actionable insights.
• Evaluate capital expenditure requests for new machinery and plant upgrades, assessing financial viability and ROI.
• Monitor and analyze inventory levels, turns, and obsolescence, recommending strategies for optimization.
• Support the monthly close process by ensuring accurate accruals and cost allocations related to manufacturing activities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting for manufacturing operations.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for data extraction and analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Ability to perform detailed variance analysis and generate performance reports.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and supply chain finance.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Demonstrated experience in cost accounting and variance analysis
