Salary Range: $51,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Supervise and train shipping and receiving staff, providing guidance and support.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure proper documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs forms.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shipping and receiving area.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to shipping and receiving.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or delays in the shipping or receiving process.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in shipping and receiving operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
• Strong understanding of shipping regulations, documentation, and carrier procedures.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train and guide a team of shipping and receiving personnel.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• - Forklift certification or a strong willingness to obtain it.
• - Proficiency in inventory management software beyond basic data entry.
• - Familiarity with international shipping regulations and documentation.
