Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for an on-site contract position serving two elementary schools near Sterling Heights, MI from August 25 through June 11, 2027. You’ll divide your workweek between locations, providing specialized services that empower young learners and collaborating with dedicated educational teams.

Key Qualifications:

• MI Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) preferred; CFY welcomed
• Experience or interest in pediatric and school settings
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation for children
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students with diverse needs
• Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), set appropriate goals, and track measurable progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to foster student success
• Provide both direct and consultative services tailored to each school’s programs, at .6 FTE in one location and .4 FTE in another
• Maintain accurate student records and uphold compliance standards
