Our Team is Kind of a Big Deal! UniFirst First Aid + Safety is seeking a reliable and hardworking Eye Wash Technician to join our family. As a Team Partner, you will be responsible for maintaining customer eye wash stations along with installations for our client’s locations within the designated territory. When working with UniFirst First Aid + Safety we provide a variety of shifts. Our standard is a 5-day work week, enjoy two days off a week. We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

What you'll be doing:

  • Visit customer locations to drain, clean, refill, inspect, and complete checklist documentation for Eye Wash stations.
  • Drive company provided vehicle to and from customer locations daily.
  • Contact customers by phone to schedule service.
  • Contact customers and prospects by phone to sell eye wash service.
  • Manage scheduling and communication with customers and team.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment including van, tools, and vac system.
  • Complete various required reports.
  • Use iPad or other electronic device to bill customer and complete call/service details.
  • Meet with Sales Manager to discuss goals, objectives, and outcomes.
  • Work with internal resources to increase service base.
  • Provide high quality service and maintain client retention.
  • Follow all safety policies, HACCP, and medical guidelines.
Qualifications

What we're looking for:

  • High school and/or GED equivalent is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record is required.
  • Previous experience in sales and upselling additional related products and service is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience as a route or service representative is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to travel within the designated territory.
  • Excellent communication skills for internal and external scheduling.
  • Ability to lift between 60-100 lbs at certain times.
