Salary Range: $48,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine setup procedures.
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Load and unload materials and parts, ensuring proper workholding and tooling selection.
• Monitor machine operations, detecting malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusting controls.
• Make minor program adjustments (offsets, tool changes) to optimize machining processes.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating and setting up CNC mills and lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code/M-code.
• Demonstrated experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and various materials.
• Commitment to quality control and adherence to safety protocols.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software for programming and design.
• Experience with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM operation).
• Ability to perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
