AWS Solution Architect

Job Description

An Aerospace company is is seeking an experienced AWS Solutions Architect. This role will sit within a large, globally distributed team responsible for AWS-hosted SAP environments and related integrations across all SAP shops worldwide.

The AWS Solutions Architect will act as a technical expert and hands-on contributor, supporting AWS infrastructure, new development, system enhancements, and SAP integrations. This role requires deep AWS expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders across the organization.

Compensation:

$80.00/hr

Exact Compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

-10+ years of experience in a similar or related technical role.

-Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including hands-on operational and architectural experience.

-Prior experience working in environments with Oracle (experience level may vary).

-Demonstrated experience managing AWS security components, including certificate updates.

-Strong background in: Network configuration and troubleshooting, firewall rule management, and running and maintaining scripts and automation. -Proven ability to work independently and manage complex technical responsibilities.

-Excellent communication skills with experience interacting with multiple stakeholders across large organizations.
