Architect, Core Infrastructure Data Science
Job Description
As Architect, Core Infrastructure Data Science, you will serve as the technical authority on the appropriate design and implementation of distributed systems that shape forecasting, demand, and supply for compute, network, and storage infrastructure. You will define the systems, integrations, and analysis platforms that enable Oracle to make real-time, data-driven decisions with suppliers and manufacturing partners. Additionally, you will serve as a principal authority on data science across OCI and consult across OCI to refine data sources, algorithms, and decision-making processes. You will be responsible for using appropriate development practices, including agentic development, to prove out concepts rapidly and iteratively.
You will also leverage deep skills in executive communication, team-building, and consensus-building to identify and align key VP/SVP leaders to a vision that consolidates disparate functions into a holistic view of the cloud.
Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Suggest and justify product directions within approved directions. Define responsibilities for new projects and specifies, designs and develops software according to those specifications. Provide consultative software guidance and strategic direction associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $136,600 to $338,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
