Location & Travel Requirement:
This role requires the candidate to reside within the district’s geographic area. As a District Leader, regular travel between store locations is essential. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license and meet all requirements outlined in BeMobile’s Vehicle Policy.
Required skills and qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience leading multiple retail locations in the wireless, telecom, or consumer electronics industry
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals across a district or territory
- Ability to analyze district-level performance metrics, identify trends, and implement improvement strategies
- Experience with budget management, forecasting, and P&L responsibility
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, coach, and retain high-performing store leaders and sales teams
- Experience building a positive, performance-driven culture through goal-setting and recognition
- Proven success in carrying out location visits that provide actionable insights and support both team development and business improvement.
- Experience in designing growth pathways that connect individual aspirations to organizational objectives.
- Ability to work with corporate teams, HR, marketing, and training to support district goals
- Comfortable leading district-wide meetings, performance reviews, and one-on-ones
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Models excellence for the team, inspiring others through hands-on involvement and accountability.
- Leads with a hands-on approach, rolling up their sleeves to support store teams, remove obstacles, and drive results across the district.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and meet BeMobile’s Vehicle Policy requirements for driving
What a Day in the Life Looks Like:
- Lead & Inspire: Start your day by connecting with your Store Leaders, setting clear goals, and aligning the district with BeMobile’s vision and Verizon’s objectives. You’ll provide direction, tools, and accountability to ensure every store is equipped to win.
- Drive Results: Monitor sales metrics and performance across all stores. Celebrate wins, coach for improvement, and implement strategies to ensure every location not only meets but exceeds sales, service, and performance goals.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee district-wide operations with precision. From inventory management and cash handling to scheduling and compliance, you’ll make sure every store runs smoothly, consistently, and profitably—while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.
- Coach & Develop Leaders: Dedicate time to mentoring Store Leaders. Through coaching conversations, feedback, and recognition, you’ll help them grow, strengthen their teams, and retain top talent.
- Recruit & Retain Talent: Partner with your Store Leaders to recruit top performers, conduct interviews, and build strong, future-ready teams. Your focus on selecting, developing, and supporting the right people ensures low turnover and high engagement.
- Be the Connector: Act as the information hub for your district, ensuring your team understands and executes key company initiatives. You’ll foster alignment across all levels and departments, driving communication and collaboration.
- Innovate & Integrate: Lead with a forward-thinking mindset. You’ll encourage collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation, ensuring the district stays aligned with long-term company goals while adapting to new challenges and opportunities.
- Hands-On Leadership: Whether it’s stepping onto the sales floor, rolling up your sleeves to solve challenges, or modeling excellent customer service, you lead by example every day.
