Position: Service Technician - Livonia, Michigan

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Technician to join our team in Livonia, MI. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing various

commercial HVAC/R systems, with the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Repairing: Conduct diagnostics and repairs on a range of systems including heating, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, ice machines, walk-in coolers, and freezers.
• Fault Diagnosis: Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Compliance Checks: Test systems for proper operation and ensure adherence to local codes and regulations.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical school or HVAC certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in commercial HVAC and 2 years in commercial refrigeration service.
• EPA certification (Type I, II, or Universal) required.
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical capability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift heavy equipment.
• Basic HVAC hand tools required.
