Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and calibrate new robotic systems and peripheral equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on industrial robots.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic cells.
• Execute repairs and replace faulty components, including servos, sensors, and end-effectors.
• Modify existing robot programs and teach new paths for production changes.
• Ensure robotic systems operate efficiently and meet production quality standards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical certification in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering technology.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in robot programming, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced PLC programming skills (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000).
• Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for inspection or guidance.
• Certification from a major robot manufacturer (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB).
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for tooling or cell layout design.
