Salary Range: $59,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily finishing production activities to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Monitor finished product quality, conducting inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate finishing team members, fostering a skilled and productive workforce.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and maintain a safe, clean, and organized finishing area.
• Optimize finishing processes and equipment utilization to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with production planning and quality control departments to resolve issues and improve workflow.
• Manage material flow for finishing operations, ensuring proper inventory levels and minimizing scrap.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing finishing processes, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong technical understanding of various finishing techniques (e.g., painting, coating, assembly, polishing) and associated equipment.
• Proven ability to implement and maintain quality control standards and optimize finishing line processes.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities for production issues, equipment, and quality defects.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software.
• Certification in a specialized finishing technique (e.g., industrial painting, powder coating, anodizing, precision assembly).
• Familiarity with advanced quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, or MSA.
