Salary Range: $60,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in a manufacturing environment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in industrial machinery, motor controls, and automation systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide installations and repairs.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, electrical codes (e.g., NFPA 70E), and company policies.
• Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and other industrial control devices.
• Calibrate and test electrical systems and instrumentation to ensure accuracy and functionality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent state/provincial licensing.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Demonstrated experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting, modification, and repair.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex electrical systems, machinery, and control circuits.
• Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industrial safety standards (e.g., Lockout/Tagout).
• Experience with motor controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and power distribution systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) beyond basic troubleshooting
• Robotics maintenance and troubleshooting experience
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet)
• Instrumentation and calibration experience
• Advanced training or certification in Arc Flash safety
