We are seeking a high-energy, compassionate Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our team! You will play a vital role in both the front and back office, ensuring our young patients receive excellent care. This role requires a unique blend of administrative precision, a friendly bedside manner, and high proficiency in clinical procedures—specifically childhood immunizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Assist providers with examinations and procedures; maintain a clean, organized, and "kid-friendly" clinical environment.
• Vaccination Specialist: Prepare and administer vaccines according to CDC schedules and office protocols. Accurate documentation of lot numbers and injection sites is essential.
• Paper Charting: Manage and maintain physical patient files with high accuracy, ensuring all notes, lab results, and vitals are recorded clearly and organized properly.
• Patient Flow: Warmly greet families, escort patients to exam rooms, and capture accurate vitals (height, weight, head circumference).
• Administrative & Billing: Handle scheduling, phone triage, and communication with insurance companies to verify coverage and follow billing procedures.

Qualifications

• Vaccination Proficiency (Required): Proven experience and comfort in administering pediatric vaccinations is a mandatory requirement for this role.
• Experience: Previous experience in healthcare administration or a clinical setting.
• Charting Skills: Strong handwriting and a high level of detail-orientation for maintaining paper-based medical records.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities without losing focus.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with both concerned parents and children.
