🕒 Schedule: Full-time, minimum 50 hours per week
💰 Pay: Up to $37.30/hr + Monthly Bonus Incentives + Overtime [time and a half after 40 hours]

Vital Tech Solutions is seeking an Electrician that will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems that power essential mining equipment and infrastructure. Your role will involve working on underground and surface electrical systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal performance in an industrial environment. As an Electrician , you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of underground and surface electrical systems that power critical mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance & Repair

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, motors, generators, switchgear, transformers, VFDs, and PLC systems.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions using electrical theory and diagnostic tools.

System Operations

• Work with 480 VAC 3-phase motor control systems.
• Test motor controls, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, and other critical components.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and mine site regulations.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas through routine housekeeping.

Communication & Reporting

• Accurately complete shift reports and paperwork.
• Communicate hazards, safety concerns, and production-impacting issues to management.

What You Need to Succeed:

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Journeyman Electrician License required.
• 4+ years of industrial electrician experience.
• Strong troubleshooting experience with industrial systems.
• Familiarity with PLCs preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical specs.

Skills & Competencies:

• Hands-on experience with electrical switchgear, motor starters, transformers, relay logic, PLCs, VFDs, etc.
• Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using lifting devices, power tools, and diagnostic instruments.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in varying temperatures and industrial conditions.
• Lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs regularly.
• Ability to climb, bend, crawl, and stoop as required.
• Must pass a physical exam and drug test.
• Must be able to work minimum 50 hours per week.
