Our client is seeking a proactive and hands-on Mobile Maintenance Technician to join their team in Ann Arbor, MI . This role involves maintaining and optimizing building systems across several commercial banking buildings across Ann Arbor, MI
You will be part of an experienced team, working directly with the Chief Engineer and Facilities Operations team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Plumbing, Minor Electrical, Painting and Decorating, Carpentry with at least 5 years of experience. While technical skills are important, we are looking for someone with the right attitude and enthusiasm for the role, as we provide training for additional skills.
Key Responsibilities of a Mobile Maintenance Technician:
- Light carpentry to include patching/paining walls
 - Light electrical to include replacing bulbs/ballasts and 110 outlet replacements
 - Light plumbing to include repairing/replacing fixtures
 - HVAC preventive maintenance to include replacing belts/filters and troubleshooting hot/cold calls
 - Other duties as assigned by FM.
 - Respond to emergency situations quickly and efficiently.
 - Review elevator maintenance records and ensure compliance with standards.
 - Perform minor repairs on doors, windows, floors, and other facility components.
 - Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and security requirements.
 
What We’re Looking For in a Mobile Maintenance Technician:
- 5+ years of experience in building maintenance
 - EPA certification preferred; willingness to obtain fire safety certification is also ideal.
 - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
 - Excellent communication and organizational skills.
 - Client-facing experience is a plus.
 - Clean License
