ER RN Job Details – Lansing, MI

• Location: Lansing, Michigan 48912
• Healthcare Setting: Level I Trauma Emergency Room
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1890-$1940
• Start Date: September 30, 2025
• End Date: January 6, 2026
• Contract Duration: 14 weeks
• Nursing Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Coverage: 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4-week schedule
• Floating: May float to Pediatric Emergency Department as needed
• Orientation: 36 hours

• Active Michigan RN license by start date (compact licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Level I Trauma ER nursing experience required (2 years preferred)
• Travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications required:
• ACLS (AHA preferred)
• BLS (AHA preferred)
• PALS
• TNCC
• ENPC
• NIHSS

• EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to manage high patient ratios (1:5-6, up to 8 during peak times)
• Proof of high school education required Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
  • Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases
  • Administer blood products, IV vasopressors, and provide continuous/procedural sedation
  • Provide care for trauma, neuro-trauma, ortho-trauma, STEMI, stroke, and other critical emergencies
  • Perform triage and rapid assessment in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Float to Pediatric Emergency Department as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, physical therapy, and rapid response
  • Complete required modules prior to start
  • Work 3 weekends per 4-week schedule and be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays
