Garden Bed Maintenance/Pruning Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Garden Bed Maintenance & Pruning Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining clients' landscape beds with the utmost care, including hand weeding, pruning, and general gardening. The ideal candidate will use various tools such as pole saws, tillers, chainsaws, backpack blowers, and hand pruners to complete all scheduled work safely and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Perform hand weeding, pruning, and general gardening tasks.
• Operate equipment such as pole saws, tillers, chainsaws, and backpack blowers.
• Check truck and equipment fluid levels daily.
• Load and secure all necessary equipment, tools, and fuel for the day's work on the truck and trailer.
• Ensure equipment is in good working condition and report any repair needs.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Drop off and pick up equipment for repairs as necessary.
• Clean all garbage and garden debris from the truck and trailer each night.
• Handle customer requests and complaints professionally and courteously on-site.
• Conduct a final inspection at each job site to ensure all work meets quality standards.
• Assist with holiday lighting installation and takedown.
• Participate in snow removal activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in operating pole saws, chainsaws, mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Ability to work professionally and courteously with customers, employees, and supervisors.
• Knowledge of horticulture.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Chauffeur’s license.
