Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative product designs and engineering solutions from concept to production.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, assemblies, and technical drawings.
• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
• Conduct design reviews and apply DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principles.
• Support the prototyping, testing, and validation of new and revised designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
• Analyze and resolve design-related issues, implementing corrective actions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication).
• Demonstrated knowledge of material science and selection for engineering applications.
• Experience applying Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and analysis for design validation.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with specific PLM/PDM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill).
• Familiarity with advanced manufacturing processes (e.g., additive manufacturing, composites, advanced machining).
• Proficiency with FEA/CFD simulation software for design validation.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
