We are dedicated to serving our community with integrity and fostering mutually beneficial relationships while continuously improving our services. Are you passionate about the outdoors and committed to delivering high-quality work? If so, WiltonScape LLC invites you to join our rapidly expanding commercial and residential lawn maintenance division. We are hiring dedicated individuals for our lawn and landscape maintenance crews, offering opportunities for growth and competitive wages for those who demonstrate strong work ethic. Past experience as a landscaper is preferred and a positive attitude is a must!

Responsibilities:
  • Work as apart of a small team.
  • Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Perform comprehensive lawn and landscape services as apart of a team for both commercial and residential clients, including large, complex sites such as apartment complexes, as part of a daily service route that must be completed by the crew on a weekly basis.
  • Operate commercial mowing equipment with a thorough understanding of proper operation, safety, and handling procedures.
  • Utilize handheld line-trimmers and edging equipment to maintain turf around buildings, obstacles, sidewalks, curb lines and areas not reached by commercial mowing equipment.
  • Perform cleanup duties using backpack blowers at the end of lawn service to clear lawn clippings and organic debris from pavement and landscaping areas.
  • Start and end-of-season duties involve spring and fall cleanup services, which include operating mowers with bagging equipment to collect leaves from turf areas, using backpack blowers to move leaf debris to mowers, raking sticks and leaves as necessary, and cutting back perennial grasses and plants in landscape beds.
  • Perform general de-weeding maintenance of concrete and landscape bed areas on commercial properties.
  • Complete bush trimming and pruning services utilizing handheld hedge trimming equipment. Must be able to endure peak season temperatures while holding 15-pound equipment at chest level or higher for extended durations.
  • Perform storm cleanup duties involving the operation of chainsaws and other handheld cutting equipment for fallen limbs after major storm events.
  • Additional landscaping services for clients may include installing mulch or rock in landscape beds, using shovels or other light digging equipment to remove existing plants, and installing new plants.
  • To provide year-round work for our employees, our company offers snow and ice management services during the winter off-season months to commercial clients. We aim to retain employees who work as part of our summer staff during the winter months to serve as snowplow/salt truck operators. Additional details regarding this opportunity will be discussed in the job interview and throughout the summer operating season.
  • Crew leaders are responsible for driving a company truck and equipment-loaded trailer to customer properties. To drive for our company, individuals must adhere to company driving policy, be able to complete a DOT Health Screen (obtain DOT Health Card), have or be able to obtain a chauffeur license, pass all drug/alcohol screens as dictated by company policy, and have a passable driving record as determined by our insurance company to be added to the insurance.
  • Crew leaders must also demonstrate the ability to lead team members to meet budgets and make sound decisions to achieve profitability on jobs without sacrificing quality. Work alongside, delegate, and distribute work according to job site size, time, and available resources. Complete route dispatch tasks using our state-of-the-art operating software, and are responsible for conducting final inspections of job sites.
Qualifications :
  • 18 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Past experience in lawn maintenance/landscaping/groundskeeping preferred.
  • Possess a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record per Company policy.
  • Pass all drug and alcohol screens as required by Company policy.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, comfortably lift 50+ pounds repetitively, and work on your feet for long periods of time.
