The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement industrial automation solutions, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and robotics.
• Program and configure automation control systems and devices to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with existing automated equipment and control systems.
• Lead automation projects from conception through commissioning, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and improve efficiency.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation systems, including schematics, programs, and operational procedures.
• Ensure all automation designs and implementations comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell Automation) and troubleshooting.
• Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., KUKA, FANUC, ABB) including programming and integration.
• Expertise in SCADA/HMI development and industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems design, implementation, and optimization.
• Familiarity with machine vision systems and various industrial sensors for automation applications.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
• Familiarity with machine vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for quality control or guidance.
• Knowledge of data historian systems (e.g., OSI PI) and basic data analytics for operational insights.
• Exposure to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) integration and data flow.
