Customer Service/Key Holder
We are seeking a friendly, outgoing and honest individual to fill a Keyholder Position 3-4 days a week for afternoon/evening closing shifts. If you would like more hours, please let us know during the interview. It may be possible for the right candidate.
Toyberg means “ Mountain of Toys ” in German. We stay true to our name in selling a unique array of toys for our tourists and local community to enjoy.

- Flexible scheduling- Shifts range from 9:30am-2p or 1p-6:30pm daily (hours vary depending on season). This position is primarily 1 – 6:30; you can choose which days of the week are best for you
- You do not need to work every weekend! Yes, that’s right. 2 weekends/month is average.
- We offer extensive training on our products so our staff feel knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions our customers might have.

- We believe customer engagement, building loyalty, and helping to foster repeat customers are vital in helping make for a positive experience all around.
Cash Handling, sometimes under pressure
- We are looking for someone who has experience of cash handling and is familiar with how to operate a basic register during a busy store where you will be required to multi-task at the cash register station. This requires being very detail oriented, focused, and attentive to your surroundings.
Communication Skills
- Communication is crucially important in this role. We are a small store that relies on clear, efficient, and honest communication
Reliability
- We have a small staff and rely on everyone to do their part to keep the workload manageable for all; if you are on the schedule, we expect you to come in ready to help out
Additional Skills that would be considered when arriving:
Computer skills
- Ability to learn more of our point of sale system beyond just the register
- Microsoft Excel and Word – basic level of understanding, especially in formatting reports in Excel
Organizational Skills/Attentiveness to Detail
- Ability to help with inventory, stock room management
