• Location: Allegan, MI 49010 (Southwest Michigan healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (September 2, 2025 – December 2, 2025)
• Shift: 4x9.5-hour day shifts (Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:30)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2550 - $2610
• Call Requirements: None
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: None (must be willing to work 1 of 3 holidays if RTO falls during holidays)
• Floating: May float to pre/post-op or affiliate hospital (Beacon Dowagiac) as needed
• Scrub Color: Provided
• Charting: Paragon (Cerner experience preferred)

RNFA Qualifications – Michigan Travel Nursing Jobs

• Active Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certification
• Active Michigan RN license (pending accepted; must apply within 24 hours of offer)
• Minimum 1 year of recent RNFA experience (first-time travel nurses welcome)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRNFA
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Experience in Acute Inpatient OR, CVOR, Endo/Laparoscopic, General, and Outpatient OR preferred
• Must live at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to complete up to 8 hours of pre-start modules

RNFA Responsibilities – Operating Room Nursing Jobs

• Assist surgeons in the operating room as a first assistant for diverse surgical cases
• Deliver patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Float to pre/post-op or affiliate hospital as needed based on census and volume
• Accurately document patient care using Paragon charting system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including rapid response teams
• Support adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
