Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan (48109) – Michigan radiology jobs
• Setting: University hospital radiology department
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 29, 2025
• End Date: December 29, 2025
• Shift: Night shift, 4x10-hour shifts per week (22:00 – 08:00), every other weekend required; option for set schedule of 8 on/6 off
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,370 – $2,690
• Employment Type: Travel contract

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)
• Active Michigan Radiologic Technologist license (required at submission)
• BLS certification required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Experience in Trauma Level I hospital setting preferred
• Proficient in a wide range of radiologic procedures: Abdomen (decubitus, supine, upright), AC joints, chest (AP, lateral decubitus, routine), extremities, spine, portable/bedside procedures, C-Arm, operating room, trauma cases, and contrast media administration
• References: 2 direct supervisor references required
• No RTO (requested time off) during the first week of contract

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Operate imaging equipment including portable and fixed units, C-Arm, and O-ARM
• Follow radiation safety protocols and infection prevention standards
• Assist in trauma and emergency cases as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Participate in orientation and complete required modules onsite
